Asia Pacific (APAC) is an important growth region for Boston Scientific. The Global Leadership Development Program (GLDP) aims to systematically develop highly talented, diverse global leaders who are capable of leading the organization into the future and ensuring success.

GLDP provides a platform for you to develop general management and leadership skills through a combination of crucial job assignments and challenging international work experiences, stretching you beyond your comfort zone and developing you to your fullest potential.

Successful Candidate Profile

Strong academic background

  • Master’s degree (any field) from one of the leading international business schools.
  • For candidates pursuing a role in the Commercial track, a Master’s degree in Business Administration is required.

Successful professional background

  • At least 5 years of progressive industry experience in a multinational company environment.
  • For candidates pursuing a role in the Commercial track, prior work experience in sales and marketing roles in an emerging market will be an added advantage.
  • Track record of handling complex projects with proven success.

Outstanding personal skills and dedication

  • Intellectually curious and a problem solver with the heart, imagination, tenacity and spirit to help make a meaningful difference in people’s lives.
  • Unafraid to challenge assumptions as well as the status quo and brings fresh perspectives to the table.
  • Drive for results.
  • Possesses an innovative and growth-mindset.
  • Thrives in ambiguity.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in English is required; other languages skills and experience living or working abroad is a plus.
  • Geographically mobile, particularly committed to the APAC region.
